This Privacy Policy describes how Phonetic Formatter handles your data when you use the app. By using this app, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Data Storage

This app stores all data locally on your device. We do not upload, sync, or transmit any of your data to external servers or cloud services.

Local Data

The following data may be stored locally on your device:

• Input text and phonetic output (last workspace content)
• Workspace state (such as last input, output, and view position)
• User preferences (appearance mode, theme color)
• In-app purchase status (Pro plan activation status)
• Daily generation count (for Free users)

All data is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms and is only accessible on your device. You can clear all stored data at any time using the "Clear All Settings" option in Settings.

No Cloud Upload

We do not upload any of your content to cloud services. All processing is done locally on your device using the CMU Pronouncing Dictionary, which is bundled with the app.

Export Function

The app allows you to export phonetic results in various formats (TXT, DOCX, PDF). Export is a user-initiated action that uses the iOS share sheet. We do not have access to exported files or their contents.

In-App Purchases

This app uses Apple's StoreKit framework for in-app purchases. The Pro plan is offered as a non-consumable, one-time purchase (lifetime license):

• Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple
• Apple collects and processes your payment information according to their Privacy Policy
• We only receive confirmation of your purchase status, not your payment details
• Purchase status is stored locally on your device
• Once purchased, Pro features are available permanently without recurring charges

You can restore your purchase on other devices using the same Apple ID through the "Restore Purchases" option in Settings. Refund requests can be made through your Apple ID account settings or the App Store, subject to Apple's refund policy.

No Tracking / Analytics

This app does not collect, track, or analyze any user behavior or usage data. We do not use any analytics services, tracking frameworks, or advertising networks. If this policy changes in the future, we will update this page accordingly.

No Third-Party Services

This app does not integrate with any third-party services for analytics, advertising, or data collection. System services provided by Apple (such as StoreKit) are used solely for in-app purchase processing.

Data Deletion

You can delete all locally stored data at any time by:

• Using the "Clear All Settings" option in Settings (clears preferences and workspace data)
• Uninstalling the app (removes all app data from your device)
